  • vegetable oil

  • garlic cloves, minced
    3 cloves 3 cloves
  • red chili, sliced
    1 medium 1 medium adjust to spice preference
  • fish sauce
    2 tbsp 2 tbsp
  • soy sauce
    1 tbsp 1 tbsp
  • brown sugar
    1 tsp 1 tsp
  • Thai basil leaves
    1 cup 1 cup loosely packed
  • steamed jasmine rice
    400 g 14 oz for serving
