Sautéed Garlic Butter Shrimp and Spinach

Ingredients

  • shrimp, peeled and deveined
    300 g 10.5 oz medium size
  • unsalted butter
    30 g 2 tbsp
  • garlic cloves, minced
    3 cloves 3 cloves
  • fresh spinach
    150 g 5.3 oz
  • lemon juice
    15 ml 1 tbsp
  • salt
    to taste to taste
  • black pepper
    to taste to taste
  • red pepper flakes
    a pinch a pinch optional

Method

    Heat half the butter in a pan over medium heat.

    Add shrimp, season with salt and pepper, cook 2-3 minutes per side until pink.

    Remove shrimp, set aside.

    Melt remaining butter, add garlic and red pepper flakes, cook 1 minute.

    Add spinach, cook until wilted, about 2-3 minutes.

    Return shrimp to pan, drizzle lemon juice, toss to combine.

    Serve immediately.
